Definition And Classification Of Hydraulic Flange Joints

Nov 03, 2021

Hydraulic flange joints are fittings that use flanges as connection conditions and connect smoothly. The definition of flange is the part that connects the pipe and the pipe to each other, and is connected to the pipe end. There are holes on the flanges, and bolts make the two flanges tightly connected. The flanges are sealed with gaskets. The flange is divided into threaded connection (wire connection) flange and welding flange.

The classification of hydraulic flange joints are: hydraulic flange rubber joints, hydraulic flange expansion joints, hydraulic flange transmission joints, hydraulic flange hose joints.

The hydraulic flange rubber joint is connected by the flange, and the rubber object is installed in the middle. Its advantages are: small size, light weight, good elasticity, convenient installation and maintenance, and can produce lateral, axial and angular displacement during installation. The pipes are not concentric and the flanges are not parallel, which can reduce the noise transmitted by the structure during work and have a strong vibration absorption capacity.

Hydraulic flange expansion joints are made of cast iron or steel products. Its advantage is that when the outside temperature changes, the pipe can freely expand and contract within the scope of the expansion, lock the expansion, and ensure the safe operation of the pipeline.

The function of hydraulic flange power transmission joint is similar to that of expansion joint, but the protruding points are different. Its advantage is that it can effectively compensate and relieve the thrust of pipelines and blind plates, and it can also facilitate the installation, maintenance and replacement of water pumps and valves. It is actually a pipeline installation. The most ideal accessory product in the operation industry.
