Hydraulic flange joints are joints that use flanges to seal and tighten joints. There are many types of hydraulic flange joints, including flange rubber joints, flange expansion joints, flange power transmission joints, flange hose joints, etc.; under different types of flange joints, they will also be classified according to the material of the flange joints. For different kinds.
The connection methods of hydraulic flange joints can generally be divided into five types: flat welding, butt welding, socket welding, loose sleeve, and thread.
1. Flat welding: only the outer layer is welded, and the inner layer is not required to be welded; it is generally used in medium and low-pressure pipelines. The nominal pressure of the pipeline should be lower than 2.5MPa. There are three types of sealing surfaces for flat welding flanges, which are smooth. There are three types, concave-convex type and tongue-and-groove type. The smooth flat-welded flange has the largest application volume, and its advantage is that the price is relatively cheap.
2. Butt welding: The inner and outer layers of the flange must be welded. It is generally used in medium and high-pressure pipelines. The nominal pressure of the pipeline is between 0.25-2.5MPa. The sealing surface of the butt welding flange connection method is concave and convex, and the installation is more complicated, so the labor cost, installation cost and auxiliary material cost are relatively high.
3. Socket welding: generally used in pipelines with a nominal pressure less than or equal to 10.0MPa and a nominal diameter less than or equal to 40mm.
4. Loose sleeve: Generally used in pipelines where the pressure is not high but the medium is more corrosive, so this type of flange has strong corrosion resistance and the material is mainly stainless steel.
5. Thread: Threaded flange is a kind of non-welded flange by processing the inner hole of the flange into pipe thread and connecting it with the threaded pipe.
